oh how the time flies. winter break in san diego has been a whole lot of sweet nothings, good friends, chilling and much needed free time. what could be any better? winter break at home is a LOT of movies and curling up with some good books... haven't done that in forever. i feel perfectly content. Siddhartha just may be my new favorite book.
so i've been needing some time alone to ask myself that universal question... WHO AM I? it sound stupid and cliche but really. without my clothes, image i put forth, materials and THINGS, without the people in my life or Anyone else, without all associations and titles... me and my bare being alone, who am i? it is all VERY unnerving when i can't even give an answer to such simple questions about myself. how can i not even know what i like and dislike? It's scary... for SO long i've been caring so much about OTHER people that i've never really paid attention to MYSELF... and I say it's ABOUT TIME.
maybe there's some wiggle room
oh HELL YEAH. I was thinking today that the constant struggle in life is to figure out how to accept ourselves. You could be an introvert and spend all your time alone, thinking, but that doesn't mean that you truly accept yourself.
